About Concrete Street Amphitheater
The Old Concrete Street Amphitheater is South Texas premier special events complex. The facility rests on the grounds of a 1930′s concrete plant that played a vital role in the construction of the Corpus Christi Sea Wall. The natural bowl shape of the cement yard provides as ideal acoustic form.
Today, the Old Concrete Street Amphitheater has many versatile options as a special event complex with an incredible charm. The twelve-acre park, with its industrial decor, still contains many of the trucks, cranes and cement mixers from the original plant. The contrast between the modern downtown skyline and the beautifully lit antiques gives event-goers an unforgettable experience.
The Pavilion at Concrete Street is a covered entertainment facility that combines the necessities of a concert facility with the ambiance of a club. Within the Pavilion area is the Concrete Street Food Court which features a great variety of food and beverage selections for the whole family.
The Amphitheater has one of the most spectacular natural presentations in America. Spectators are treated to the breathtaking view of ships passing through the channel under the Harbor Bridge, as well as the beautiful skyline of Corpus Christi just a few miles away. When the sun goes down, 5,000 white festoon bulbs light up the park to create and incredible ambience.
